Let the blood run free was an Australian comedy/soap opera parody set in a hospital that ran for 2 seasons in the early 1990s. It was originally an improvised show in a comedy club, embracing audience participation. In keep up with this, at the end of the show, members of the public could ring one of two phone numbers and the one with the most votes would determine what would be the conclusion to the previous episodes ending.
It is determined to be the lowest budget show ever made and really does embrace this, with over the top acting, really stupid props and even more over the top storylines.
